Tour guides of 20 artefacts on display at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir

Tour guides of 20 artefacts on display at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is launching in the weekend a series of online, guided video tours of museums in Egypt on its official website and social media pages under the slogan “Experience Egypt from Home. Stay Home. Stay Safe."

This comes within the framework of the ministry’s initiative launched a week ago to publish a series of virtual, guided video tours of a number of museums and archaeological sites around Egypt, to enable people worldwide to explore and enjoy the ancient Egyptian civilisation during their stay at home amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The tours are made by volunteering tour guides of 20 artefacts on display at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.
